Ingredients and Recipe

• 1/2 of cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup of brown sugar
• 2 tbsp sweetener preferably mango puree
• 1 tbsp of rice vinegar
• 1 tbsp of soy sauce
• 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes (adjust for desired heat)
• 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp ginger powder
• Pinch of smoked paprika (optional)
• Pinch of lime zest

Instructions

• Bring all the ingredients in a sauce pan and heat until smooth
• Place in simmer oven on a medium heat for 10-15 minutues, stir occasionally until you see it starts thickening
• Now let it cool and it will be thicker and ready to serve.

Pro Tips

• For more smoother texture, remove bits of mango and chilli flakes
• If sauce is too thick, add a bit of water to make it thin
• You can also vary the amount of spices to experiment a new taste
